WYCKFORD & Whitney Oaks COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE – BENEFITING St. VINCENT DE PAUL FOOD PANTRY
Hey Neighbor!
Food Banks are anticipating an inordinate number of individuals and families who may be suffering job loss and economic hardship to require food assistance in the coming days and months. Our most vulnerable populations face significant barriers to receiving safe and consistent access to meals— children who are out of school and rely on school lunch programs, low-income families, and the elderly.
St. Vincent de Paul Roseville is currently experiencing an increase of 3-5 new applicants to the food distribution drive thru EACH DAY they are open!
This November, I am teaming up with SVDP Roseville Food Bank to fight hunger by collecting 200lbs of food and raising $500 to provide 20 families with a turkey. I will be hosting a series of food drives around Wcyford & Whitney Oaks in Rocklin, where you can drive up and drop off non-perishable or canned food donations.
All monetary donations made through this gofundme will go towards helping provide those turkeys and ensuring every family has the necessary ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal!
We have an opportunity to come together to support our neighbors in this critical time of need.
How can you help?
Donation days -
Drive up & Drop off Saturday, Nov. 5th, 11-3 Breen Park - 2842 Shelton St, Rocklin, CA 95765
Drive up & Drop Off Sunday, Nov. 6th, 11-3 Monument Park - 2819 KETCHIKAN DR ROCKLIN, CA 95765
We need “Thanksgiving fixins” – canned veggies & fruit ( green beans, corn, carrot, cranberry sauce), Gravy, Stuffing, and instant potatoes.
When donating food items, please assist the food bank by checking to make sure all donations are things they can accept —meaning propperly labeled, not expired, and not already opened.
Monetary donations can be made to the GoFundme until Nov. 14th 2022.
Your cooperation and support are greatly appreciated!
